The first Leyland Santa bar crawl will be held at on Sunday, November 10, at 12. 30pm.
Upon that day time the town will certainly be awash with the loves of fundraising Santas, Mrs Santas, elves.
The Xmas Crawlers will begin at their own personal local possessing a drink.
After that, using the reindeer path map, its on to the following pub participating.
They will be transporting collection buckets to raise because much money as possibe.
It has been organized by the Leyland Town Group to raise cash for the towns Xmas lights.
The team are inviting an array of pubs in the Leyland and Farington areas to consider part.
Matn Carlin, from the town group, said: We are happy to bring this to Leyland.
Its almost all part of the fundraising throughout every season to raise cash for the Light up Leyland @ Christmas marketing campaign.
This particular event continues to be tried and tested quarter of a century ago with a small group in the UK, right now 25 years later on, it has become one of the biggest occasions in the uk bringing in thousands and thousands of individuals wearing Santas outfits increasing money.
Some of the cafes in Leyland, including The Gables, Wetherspoons, Bald eagle & Kid, Broadfield Hands, Market Alcohol House, Wheatsheaf and also The A queen have all decided to be hosts.
Paul Cookson, supervisor at the A queen, said We fully support raising cash for the lights.
Chapel Brow got lit up last year and looked amazing, all right down to the amazing work the Leyland City Team has been doing.
This event will bring the city together and set Leyland rightfully on the map.
Caroline Massey from Bewitched Celebrations, Goldenhill Street Leyland stated we are happy to support the Light up Leyland Marketing campaign.
We are providing free hire of the Santa outfits for the fundraising event on Nov 10. All of us do need to charge a refundable deposit of 20 per outfit, which is usually returned when the outfit is returned so its first arrive, first offered bases.
Martin added: We wish that more pubs can come forward and become a host.
The idea is usually that people register at among the pubs having a 5 charge, each person after that is to dress up in the event spirit.
On the day, a route will certainly be given exactly where each group from every pub will rotate throughout the pubs.
All monies elevated will go toward this years Christmas lamps.
Before this though, we now have a Summer time ball to become held upon Saturday, Sept 8, in the Hallmark Resort, Leyland.
The tickets are 9, almost all money elevated will once again go toward our Illuminate Leyland marketing campaign.
