“The most amazing aspect of Victorian Christmas is seeing people wearing Victorian clothing,” said Thomasville City Event Director Saratner. “Clothing helps to determine the tone and increase the feeling of turning back the clock.”
Victorian Christmas costume closets provide clothing for men, women and children of all ages and sizes.
Turner said: “This year we refreshed the closet in one of the main ways.” “There are dozens of new items in various sizes, including hats, skirts, shirts, accessories, vests, etc.”
Clothing items are available on a first come, first served basis.
The clothing rental is $10 per person plus a $20 deposit; if the garment has a dry cleaning receipt and label, the deposit will be refunded. The garment will return to the closet by Friday, January 12, 2018.
Victorian Christmas will be held on Thursdays and Fridays, December 14th and 15th, 6 to 9 nights per night.
